To celebrate its 40th anniversary, ISAG – European Business School organized a party for current and former students, teachers, staff and invited stakeholders. The event took place on October 2, the symbolic date on which the institution was founded in 1979 by Consuelo Ruiz Póvoas Vieira da Costa.

“VOO40 ISAG FEST” was the name chosen to mark the event, which aims to commemorate the institution’s 40th anniversary, along with the different generations that passed through ISAG – EBS and that left their mark in the national and international market after 4 decades. At the same time, the institution’s new campaign and slogan – ISAG gives you the world – will be announced, reinforcing its strategy and investing in the internationalization of education, research and future professionals.

On the same day, Luísa Amorim, President of Quinta Nova of Nossa Senhora do Carmo and former student of ISAG – European Business School, is the special guest of the Inaugural Class, scheduled for 18h00, which will officially start the 2019/2020 school year. During his speech, his academic career at the institution and several professional projects under his management will be revisited, culminating in the parallels of the 40 years of ISAG and the 20 years of the entry of Amorim Group in the wine production business.

This is followed by a laid-back party at Campus de Salazares, with various dining options, a Bamba Social concert, the possibility of a captive flight at the ISAG Hot Air Balloon and extended entertainment with several guest DJs. All activities are free for those present, and registration is required.

Over the past 40 years, ISAG – European Business School has become a benchmark in private polytechnic higher education. In 1979, he pioneered, in the North of Portugal, the offer of Bachelor Degrees in Tourism and Business Management, nonexistent. It currently has more than 1,000 Portuguese and foreign students, spread over 4 undergraduate degrees, 2 masters and 5 Higher Vocational Technical Courses.
