The Douro and Porto Wine Institute, I.P. (IVDP) intends to reinforce the training of restaurant and catering professionals on Port Wine and, for that purpose, will do the first online training for these professionals, on the 6th of July, at 10 am.
In addition to training, the initiative aims to educate and raise awareness among professional audiences, teachers, and students and consumption intermediaries, so that they can, through their action and with the end consumer, raise awareness of the consumption and promotion of Port wines.
All trainees will be entitled to receive, at their home, free of charge, 5 bottles with the 5 wines that will be presented during the training, as well as the respective certificate of participation.
The sessions will take place via the Zoom platform and a maximum of 10 participants per session will be accepted, among the several that the IVDP intends to carry out in the future.
Registration for this 1st session is now open and will end on the 23rd of June.
