Japan Olympic Games may not even happen

The organization of the Olympic Games in Japan is at risk.

Although the competition has been postponed until July 23, 2021, if there is no effective vaccine against Covid-19 it will be extremely difficult for there to be the largest sport competition in the world, according to the president of the Medical Association of Japan, Yoshitake Yokokura.

The president of the Medical Association of Japan warned of the need to accelerate global efforts to get better drugs to stop the spread of the new coronavirus, as well as the development of an effective vaccine against Covid-19.

It is recalled that the Olympic Games in Japan were initially scheduled for July 24 this year, but were postponed until July 23, 2021.
