Portuguese director João Salaviza is on the jury and will show five films at the German festival Stuttgarter Filmwinter, which starts today in Stuttgart, Germany.
According to the schedule, João Salaviza will be in Stuttgart as a member of the official jury and, in parallel, will exhibit some internationally awarded short films, such as “Arena” and “Rafa”, and the feature film “Chuva is singing in the village”. dead “, performed with Renée Nader Messora.
In the short competition of this festival are two Portuguese productions: ‘Stories of wolves’, by Chinese documentary filmmaker Agnes Meng and shot in the north of Portugal, and ‘Ride’, an animated film by British director Paul Rush from a Portuguese motorcycle collection.
The Stuttgarter Filmwinter festival, dedicated to the most experimental short films and new media with cinema, will run until Sunday.
In 2018, the short film ‘Ballad of a Batrachian’ by Leonor Teles won the festival’s grand prize.
