The Portuguese tennis player João Sousa today qualified for the second round of Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam tournament of the season, after beating Briton Paul Jubb.

João Sousa, who reached the second round only for the second time in six appearances at the London turf tournament, will find the winner of the match between Croatian Marin Cilic, the 13th seed and Frenchman Adrian Mannarino.
