Dime is the winner of the K.Tech Prize, the technological aspect of the Montepio Acredita Portugal contest supported by KCS iT, which received 1,844 applications this year. The initiative aims to reward projects related to the new Information Technologies and their implementation in traditional business areas.
Dime is a platform that aims to transform the sports talent market. It is a social network that reinvents the way players display their characteristics digitally – through moments on video – using artificial intelligence to balance the demand and supply of talent, on a global scale.
Tiago Farinha, General Director of KCS iT, stressed, “at a time clearly different and different from what we all expected for 2020, the quality and increasing innovation of the projects under tender.
All projects that have reached the final evaluation stage have the quality to become real businesses, which demonstrates the role of this initiative as an opportunity for training entrepreneurs and providing specialized mentoring.
We believe that the empowerment of this entrepreneurial spirit and these skills will help us to move from this negative context to a dynamic one, conducive to economic recovery. The relevance of this Competition is, it seems to us, assured in the face of the challenges of the coming times”.
The winning project will now count on the support of KCS iT for its entry into the market, through the allocation of a scholarship of hours to implement the best practices at the PMI level.
