Kumpania Algazarra announce second album with video “Let’s Go”

“Let’s Go!” it was remixed by Dr. Fre & Sam Rabam, Belgian producers who have been working mainly with electro swing, balkan beat and house music.

Combining modern beats with classic Balkan melodies, these producers have become reference names on the European Balkan Beats scene. The video clip was recorded by João Guimarães at the mythical disco 2001 – Catedral do Rock at Autódromo do Estoril.

On December 12th, Kumpania Algazarra will play at BENEFIT SMUP, a fundraising event to help SMUP continue the incredible work it has done during this pandemic period to offer us Culture and a meeting space!

Ten years after the release of the first remix album, Remixed Vol. 1, published in 2010, the themes of the most frantic band of Portuguese music gain new colors and beats in the second remix album edited by Kumpania Algazarra, Remixed Vol. 2.

The idea came up in the confinement period. As the world stopped and slowed down, Kumpania Algazarra decided to put an end to the tranquility of several national and international producers and invited us to reinvent a theme of their choice belonging to the various albums of the band.

The challenge was met by both friendly producers and others that Kumpania had long followed by admiring and identifying with their work. The challenge was launched simultaneously in the universe of social networks, in a contest format, and one of the tracks belongs to the winner.
