Lando Norris in an exclusive interview with Eleven Sports
McLaren’s 20-year-old British driver Lando Norris gave an exclusive interview to Eleven Sports where, among other topics, he talks about the physical difficulties he experienced last weekend during the Styrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, and how he overcame them, managing to finish in fifth place.
After his first podium in F1 at the Austrian Grand Prix, where he took third place, Eleven Sports once again stood out at the Styrian Grand Prix where, despite physical difficulties, being in 8th place when entering the penultimate lap, he managed to overtake Ricciardo, Stroll and Pérez, finishing in 5th place.
During the interview Lando Norris, he addressed the issue of physical difficulties experienced last weekend, during the Styrian Grand Prix, and how he overcame them: “In the race it was never a problem, it was never something that made me uncomfortable or that cost time around. I took all the precautions I could, guaranteed that I did a good warm-up and was taking painkillers because I had a lot of pain. In the last few laps I started to feel it, but the energy and adrenaline were so much that the pain didn’t matter, I just wanted to keep accelerating and forget everything.”
The full interview with Eleven Sports will be aired next Sunday, July 19, at the F1 Eleven Pré GP in Hungary, starting at 12:15 pm, on Eleven Sports 3.
