Lello Bookshop will have a drive thru

From April 1, Livraria Lello, with its doors closed for more than a week, will inaugurate a ‘drive thru’ – a service that allows you to purchase the products you want from a commercial establishment without leaving your car.

The first ‘drive thru’ of a bookstore in the country will operate from Monday to Friday, for two hours, between 10 am and 12 pm. However, to subscribe to the service, it is necessary to register by 18:00 on the previous day, via email.

Every day, a book from Lello’s own collection will also be offered, which includes classics such as Herman Melville’s ‘Moby Dick’, Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Portrait of Dorian Gray’ or Lewis ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Carroll.
