Lisbon marks 45 years of the Carnation Revolution with free spectacles

Besides the multimedia show, there is also a free concert.

Like many other cities throughout Portugal, Lisbon will mark the 45th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution with great enthusiasm.

On Wednesday, April 24, the Abril program starts in Lisbon at Praça do Comércio. The façades of Terreiro do Paço will serve as a screen for an immersive 270º video mapping spectacle, evocative of Memórias de Abril. During 20 minutes, the public can remember the day that dictated the end of the dictatorship, as well as some moments before and after the Revolution.

A trip through Portuguese history that you can do every day, until May 1st, with sessions starting at 9:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Also on the eve of April 25, you can watch the free Music and Revolution concert, played by Fausto Bordalo Dias and the Band & Orchestra.
