The Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra, conducted by conductor Pedro Amaral and accompanied by violinist Ana Pereira, plays “Tragic Opening”, Op. 81, and Symphony No. 4, Op. 98, by German composer Johannes Brahms, and “Concert for Violin ”, By Russian Igor Stravinsky, at a concert commemorating World Music Day.In activity since 1992 and with artistic direction by Pedro Amaral, the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra has a staff of 37 musicians and covers various genres, such as classical music, jazz, fado and opera.
