Lisbon went back in time with the Vintage Fest at Baldaya Palace

This weekend, the Baldaya Palace hosted the Vintage Fest, which commemorated the 1950s and 1960s with lots of music, exhibitions, pin-up parades and more!

The partnership The Voodoo Club, Twice Twice Baby and the Parish of Benfica, brought to the city of Lisbon, and to the heart of Benfica, the 1st edition of Baldaya Vintage Fest.

On the weekend of September 13-15, Baldaya Palace hosted concerts, djset, photo exhibits, classic cars and motorcycles exhibitions, pin-ups and stalls.

Vintage Fest not only celebrates the 50’s and 60’s but also joined the cancer patients association, Careca Power Association (carecapower.org), which was also present at the party raising donations.

The opening of the festival took place on the 13th to 8 pm with the inauguration of the photography exhibition by Carlos Morais da Silva.

The following day, the 14th, we could hear Os Cardosos, Little Orange – One-man Show and Lucky Duckies.

There were also classic cars and motorbikes on display by the Smashing Moskitos and Pin-Up parades.

Sunday came bands and groups such as The Jagwires, T. Perry and the Bombers and A.J. & The Rockin ‘Trio.

In addition to the music, during the three days, we can also count on a market where you will find brands such as Old Pearls – Make Up & Vintage Hair Styling, MrZombie, Mecanica Craft Beer, Moustache Sardine, Barbearia Fonseca Vintage, Madame Bizarre Boutique, Francis Grave Tattooer, Raging Planet, Groovie Records, The Hound Dog Vintage and Jinger’s e Bazaar Vintage.
