Lourinhã Museum reopens on the 20th

The Lourinhã Museum, known for its dinosaur findings, will reopen on the 20th, but in partial ‘lay-off’, after having closed in mid-March due to the covid-19 pandemic.

The Museum will reopen with three employees, while the other three will remain with their employment contracts suspended.

On April 6, the institution resorted to a total ‘lay-off’ to receive support from the Government, remaining in partial ‘lay-off’ after the reopening.

“Employees have their salaries up to date, paid at the expense of the museum,” he explained, since the institution has not yet received support from the government, but “expects the situation to be regularized” during this month.
