In this new album, Miguel Gizzas takes another step in his odyssey of fusing literature with music. The musical themes are no longer just poetic summaries of moments in history, but also environments that integrate us deeply into it.
For this, the musician used musical aesthetics that fit in the moments and places where the stories happen. It is thus easy to feel the warm sounds of Africa, or more intimate sounds of the suffering moments of the characters, passing through the fusion between the march of Lisbon and the Big Band style of the luxurious halls where the privileged classes of the capital moved in the 50s and 60s .
Paradoxically, it is in this new work that Miguel Gizzas leaves for his heteronym, Miguel Jesus, the arduous task of writing.
