Luís Couto Coelho’s “Não me Faças Perder Tempo” wins Theater Award

The play will be taken to the scene by the New Group at the Teatro Aberto, in Lisbon, and will be edited by the National Press – Casa da Moeda.

28 unpublished texts were applied for the award, revealed the Portuguese Society of Authors (SPA), in a statement.

The jury was chaired by the director João Lourenço and also included the poet Tiago Torres da Silva, the actors Rui Mendes and Francisco Pestana, the director Marta Dias, the broadcaster Luís Filipe Costa and the translator and researcher of the Center for Theater Studies at the Faculty of Letras de Lisboa Vera San Payo de Lemos.
