Mainova olive oil wins gold medal in international competition

Produced in an integrated production regime with green olives harvested in October 2019, Early Harvest extra virgin olive oil stands out for its reduced acidity of only 0.2% and for its strong, bitter and spicy green fruity flavor. It also has a high content of anti-inflammatories, antioxidants and polyphenols.

At the Dubai Olive Oil Competition, all olive oils in competition were evaluated by an international jury that included prestigious names, such as Emmanuelle Dechelette (France), sommelier and olive consultant and founder of the Olio Nuovo Days concept, the olive specialist and agronomist Kostas Liris (Greece) and the olive sommelier and general director of the olive groves cooperative in Valpaços José Ventura (Portugal).

Only two months old, launched in June 2020, Mainova is a Portuguese brand of sustainable wines and extra virgin olive oil, which favors organic and integrated production methods.
