Make Caldo Verde — Traditional Portuguese Soup

Today we’re making Caldo Verde a green Portuguese soup with potatoes, collard greens and chorizo.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8-10 Potatoes peeled and chopped
  • 8-10 cups of water
  • 1 brown onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 bunch of collard greens thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Chorizo (Portuguese sausage chopped (optional)
