Make Caldo Verde — Traditional Portuguese Soup
Today we’re making Caldo Verde a green Portuguese soup with potatoes, collard greens and chorizo.
INGREDIENTS:
- 8-10 Potatoes peeled and chopped
- 8-10 cups of water
- 1 brown onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 bunch of collard greens thinly sliced
- 2 tsp Sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 Chorizo (Portuguese sausage chopped (optional)
