~ Ampersan ~
Formed in 2007 in Mexico City, with 4 albums edited and a live DVD,
Ampersan has maintained a constant relationship with traditional Mexican music, sound experimentation and poetry, blending traditional instruments and rhythms with modern genres of rock, jazz and electronics.
Ampersan is a sensory journey that celebrates Latin American cultural diversity and one of the most original projects in Mexico’s current music landscape.
Led by Kevin García and Zindu Cano, composers and vocalists, they return to Portugal two years after a short stay in 2016, in the context of a tour in Germany and eager to publicize their work in Europe.
~ MERU ~
MERU Music is an independent Portuguese music project with a firm foundation in Lusitanian soul and awareness and openness to the world. It brings together acoustic instruments from various eras and ethnicities into original instrumental compositions and multicultural characteristics.
Live, presents with an imaginary and timeless journey, created by instruments that manifest, through musicians, sounds of different cultures, traditions and musical styles, in a trip around the world, from Africa to Asia, Oceania and Americas, always with Portugal. as a base, home and inspiration.
Formed in 2013 as a trio, it was in 2017 that the current formation of 4 musicians (two men, two women and four generations) consolidated the project. The recording of the 1st EP (6 songs) in author edition was made in 2018 by Bernardo Barata (Devil in the Cross).
