Portuguese driver started from the 17th position of the starting grid.
Positive debut for Miguel Oliveira! The Red Bull KTM Tech 3 rider reached 17th place in the Qatar Grand Prix, having just started from 17th place on the grid.
After a start that even lost a place, Oliveira was recovering several positions in the first few laps until he settled in 13th place, where he rode most of the race.
With six laps remaining, the Portuguese lost two places and finished 15th. Already close to the end, Lorenzo overtook Miguel Oliveira and in the last lap the young Portuguese was still going through Quartararo and cut the goal in 17th place.
The great winner of the Qatar Grand Prix was Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso while Marc Márquez, the title-holder, was in second place. Cal Crutchlow, Honda’s LCR, took the last place on the podium.
