An album with seven unreleased tracks from Miles Davis (1926-1991), recorded in 1985, will be released on Sept. 6, Warner said on Tuesday.

In the 1980s, the American Miles Davis lived a period of great activity, recording several albums in a row. In 1987 the trumpeter abruptly left Columbia Records, where he was 30 years old, to sign with Warner.

In October of that same year, he began to record an album with the intention of giving a new orientation to his music, opening himself to soul.

Miles Davis left the album to dedicate himself to another project, ‘Tutu’, which made the artist a global pop star, far beyond the sphere of jazz.

The songs on Rubberband, which will be released in September, remained unpublished almost 30 years, now appearing on an album with four other titles already released last year in the form of an EP.
