New single by Catarina Rocha now available

After releasing the first single “Fado Abananado” with lyrics by Pedro da Silva Martins and music by Manuel Graça Pereira, fadista Catarina Rocha now releases the second single “Agora é que vai ser”, from her album “Vida”

Catarina Rocha chose these two themes for singles due to their great musicality and joy.

Catarina Rocha now wants to send a more positive and motivating message not only to her fans and followers, but also to those who listen to her for the first time. This new single from the album “VIDA”, entitled “Agora é que vai ser!”, Has lyrics by Catarina Rocha and music by Manuel Graça Pereira.

A very positive theme to counter the sad days that we have all spent. We need to encourage the public, we need to motivate people and believe that everything will improve, and that after the storm passes, we will no longer look back, looking only and exclusively for the things that make us happy.

The theme talks about seeing the positive side of things, and we all really hope that after the storm there will be calm and hope.

The success of the first single “Fado Abananado”, was reinforced due to the pandemic time that we have all lived, for its peculiar refrain that coincidentally describes the state of confinement that the country lived -; “We are sorry today, I can’t, I’m closed for the balance sheet”. With this phrase, a hashtag “closed for balance” was created, as the public identified itself totally with the theme, even saying that the world was “shaken”.
