The New Hilux combines the new design with a new 2.8-liter engine and improvements in dynamic performance. It offers superior performance on and off the road, with more comfort, more equipment and a wide range of leisure and work versions.
Symbol of robustness, the new Hilux debuts the top-of-the-range version ‘Invincible‘, which offers superior style and equipment levels, without sacrificing the legendary Quality, Durability and Reliability (QDF) that have made Hilux an essential reference in the automotive industry.
Since its launch in 1968, the unstoppable Hilux has proved capable of overcoming numerous challenges by conquering the North Pole, volcanoes in Iceland, Antarctica, and a victory in the Dakar in 2019.
Toyota Hilux has had a dominant presence in the worldwide pick-up market for more than 50 years. In Portugal it is the sales leader since 2013 and in 2019 it reached a 30.8% share in the pick-up segment, becoming the sales leader for the seventh consecutive year.
Hilux’s 1-ton payload and 3.5-ton towing capacity have now been expanded to all four-wheel-drive versions.
Sales of the new Hilux will start this year in Eastern Europe and will arrive in Portugal in the first quarter of 2021.
