Next Paris Fashion Week will be held online

The current crisis is triggering more profound changes in the fashion world.

The ready-to-wear spring-summer collections for men will be presented “in the form of a film or video” on a specific digital platform, the federation said in a statement.

The fashion week parades in Paris scheduled for June 23 and 28 and July 5 and 9 were canceled due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Saint Laurent’s artistic director, Anthony Vaccarello, has already announced that the house will retire from Moda Paris this year, choosing to create and present its collections at its own pace and privilege “the relationship with people and everyday life”.

Also the Italian designer Giorgio Armani, who presents his collections during the fashion weeks in Milan and Paris, has already said that he intends to “eliminate the superfluous”.
