Nights at the Palacio de Cristal begin on the 31st with António Zambujo

In a totally atypical year in the panorama of national culture, Porto City Hall is getting ready to celebrate summer with a cycle of outdoor concerts in the Gardens of the Palácio de Cristal.

This initiative is seen as the resumption of activity in the area of entertainment and the first major event organized in the city after the phase of deflation that, little by little, is returning the life that has always characterized it.

This cycle of eight concerts begins on July 31 and ends on August 22. Altogether, there will be four weekends with the most impressive names in national music that promise to make history in this time of COVID-19. The forecast is the creation of unique moments of conviviality, and exciting reunions between the public and the following artists:

  • August 1 – THE BLACK MAMBA

  • August 7 – HMB

  • August 8 – GISELA JOÃO

  • August 14 – JORGE PALMA

  • August 15 – DIOGO PIÇARRA

  • August 21 BLIND ZERO

  • August 22 – RUI VELOSO

Tickets for each of the concerts are already on sale for €10.

In a space defined for this purpose, all places will be identified, complying with the minimum mandatory distance between spectators who are not part of the same group. Finally, in order to avoid any type of congestion between people, all entrances and exits will have their own circuits with the appropriate signs.

It is with immense pride that the Porto City Council invites all citizens to join in the celebrations of the return to normality. Confidence and the certainty that it is essential to encourage the entertainment area in Portugal, were the key words that defined the project and determined the success of its realization.
