Norway beat Poland and win the Algarve Cup for the fifth time

Norway won the Women’s Algarve Cup for the fifth time this season after beating Poland 3-0 in the final at the Municipal da Bela Vista in Parchal, Albufeira.

Isabell Herlovsen (24 minutes), Caroline Hansen (65) and Karina Saevik (74) scored the goals of the Norwegian side against Poland, who first reached the final of the competition.

After winning four of the first five editions (1994, 1996, 1997 and 1998), Norway once again clinched the trophy, securing second place in the top five teams, half of those won by the United States.
