Oculus Quest 2 officially announced

Like the original model, Oculus Quest 2 does not require any wires and improves several elements of your first foray.

Oculus Quest 2 is capable of offering an 1832×1920 resolution for each eye, with a 72Hz refresh rate at launch. However, Oculus says it will launch an update to increase the ‘refresh rate’ to 90Hz.

In addition to 70 grams lighter than the original version and a more ergonomic design, Quest 2 also comes with controls to allow for a better gaming experience.

Inside we find a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 processor accompanied by 6GB of RAM and, depending on the consumer’s choice, 64GB (349 euros) or 256GB (449 euros) of internal storage.

Facebook is confident in the success of Oculus Quest 2 and intends to produce more units to ensure that interested parties can purchase one.

You can pre-order from today with a promise of delivery for October 14th.
