The Conversas na Rua project takes place this year between the 10th and the 26th of September and will have the theme “Amadora Ilustrada“
Amadora was one of the precursor cities in the dynamism of urban art. Interventions in the public space value the city and intensify the feeling of belonging of those who live here and feel the city as their own.
In the 6th edition, the project includes ten Portuguese artists: Odeith, Kruella d’Enfer, Jorge Charrua, Krus, Add Fuel, AkaCorleone, Mariana Duarte Santos, Carlos Farinha, Robert Panda and Miguel Brum.
The legacy of mural painting and the more than 100 records of this practice in the city, make Amadora a reference for artistic expression in the public space and in the urban culture of Lisbon.
“Conversas na Rua” is a project organized by the Municipality of Amadora that annually promotes interventions of public mural art, in conjunction with heritage and the urban landscape, with the aim of stimulating participation, dialogue, and reflection about the city.
