The Oeiras Eco Rally race takes place at the beginning of October, continues to be part of the FIA championship and is carried out in partnership by the Classic Club of Portugal and the Portuguese Federation of Automobilism and Karting (FPAK).
Each competitor will plant a tree, thus contributing to the transformation of carbon dioxide into oxygen and promoting an event of negative emissions.
In addition to this novelty, there is an additional attraction, with the first PRIO Cup Trophy that involves a competition entirely held at Autódromo do Estoril. This race will be played in two heats, on October 4, at 4:30 pm, with the originality of being played in a closed circuit. PRIO joins the event as a way to highlight its performance in electric mobility since 2011.
As usual, teams in competition will have to demonstrate their effectiveness, performing the best possible consumption management along the route and ensuring regularity, avoiding penalties in the different controls carried out.
The last chapter of this event is the ‘Marginal de Oeiras Power Stage’, with arrival and departure from Santo Amaro de Oeiras beach, which the public can watch.
