OPEN CONVENTS
23 | 24 | May 25 – 2019
Itineraries, guided tours and free visits to the Convents of Lisbon

What do the Assembly of the Republic, the National Museum of Ancient Art, the Patriarchal Curia or the Chiado Warehouses have in common? Everyone has been convents or monasteries. Lisbon is punctuated by buildings that were once houses of religious communities, each with its own purposes – prayer, hospitality, education – and which today serve very different purposes. Come and see the places and the memory of these buildings.
