OutSystems Announces Low-Code School to Train New Professionals

OutSystems, the world’s leading low-code platform developer for rapid application development, announces the launch of Low-Code School. The main objective of this initiative is to educate professionals in OutSystems technology to increase their career opportunities and expand the current ever-growing ecosystem.

With the launch of this program, five full-time and post-work editions are foreseen in the cities of Lisbon, Braga and Castelo Branco. Completely free courses are available to finalists and / or recent graduates of professional courses (Computer Science), as well as programmers with at least three years of professional experience in web or mobile programming languages.

Low-Code School consists of a two-week OutSystems technology training, with free access to a professional certification exam and the opportunity for a job offer at an OutSystems ecosystem partner company. By the end of the year, the goal is to train more than 100 new professionals in low-code technology.

 

The first edition will take place in Lisbon, at OutSystems’ premises in Linda-a-Velha, from October 21st to November 4th, after hours. Applicants must submit their application through the program page by 14 October.

The next post-employment issues for professionals will take place in Braga and Castelo Branco, from 11 to 25 November and from 2 to 16 December, respectively.

OutSystems technology is used by more than 1,000 companies in 52 countries worldwide, supported by a network of 250 partners. Demand for technically certified professionals at OutSystems has been growing steadily and is expected to even double next year. Currently in Portugal and Europe there are over 600 vacancies seeking certified professionals in this low-code technology.
