Portugal’s Paulo Gonçalves (Honda) was third in the fourth stage of the Challenge Ruta 40 in Argentina, a test of the world championship of cross country rally, and leaves for the last race in the race on Friday.

For the last leg, the man from the official Honda team leaves with 3.28 minutes of advantage over Price, who today ascended to second place.

On Friday, the drivers face 200.48 kilometers of special timing between Villa Union and San Juan.

The Ruta 40 Challenge in Argentina is the fourth round of the FIM cross country world championship, for a total of five scheduled rounds. At the start of this race, the Argentine Kevin Benavides led the overall standings with 50 points, while the Portuguese was sixth, with 27 points.
