Pedro Sousa wins Pullach ‘challenger’ tournament

The Portuguese tennis player Pedro Sousa today won the Pullach tournament in the challenger category by beating German Jan-Lennard Struff in two sets by 6-1 and 6-3.

World No. 166 Pedro Sousa had been runners-up last Sunday at Liberec in the Czech Republic and was in very good shape today by beating Struff, 56th in the ATP hierarchy, in just 56 minutes.

In Pullach, the player won the most important victory in his career, in a tournament with monetary prizes of 127 thousand euros, after having won the Braga challenger in May, who distributed 43 thousand euros.
