The set of specialized judges from ‘What Car?’ was impressed by the concept of “Buy your PEUGEOT, choose your engine”, which allows customers to choose between the new 100% electric e-208 and the petrol or diesel thermal versions available in the range. All this without any compromises in terms of versatility of use, performance, or habitability.
The interior of the new PEUGEOT e-208, in the Allure Premium equipment level, also did not go unnoticed by the ‘What Car?’ Judges.
The panel of judges praised the new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® on board the 208, both in its aesthetics and in its technologies or driving aids. Suspension comfort, as well as battery life in real driving conditions, were also appreciated by the jury.
The new PEUGEOT e-208 is equipped with a 50 kWh battery and a 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor. Its autonomy allows to travel up to 340 kilometers (in the WLTP cycle). Fast charging of 80% of the battery in 30 minutes is possible using a public charging station with up to 100 kW of capacity.
