Pichardo wins triple-jump at the Inspiration Games

The jumper reached this mark with the irregular wind (+2.3 m / s), having been granted the approval of 17.17 meters for the mark of the year (reached in the sixth jump), but that did not remove his triumph in the race.

Played on three different stages, this event saw Pichardo, who competed at the Estádio Universitário de Lisboa, reach the 17.2 meter mark in the first jump. But it would be in the second that he would reach the mark with which he would end up winning the race, while the US athlete, who jumped in Bradenton, registered the 17.27 meters (wind: +2.3 m / s) only in the sixth and last jump.

In competition was also another athlete from the United States Omar Craddock, fifth in the world and who competed in Walnut, who stayed for 17.04 meters (wind: +0.3 m / s).
