Porto Book Fair started today
The city’s Book Fair, in the Jardins do Palácio de Cristal, has limited access, entrance reserved for 3,500 people, mandatory use of a mask and disinfectant spread over the enclosure consisting of 115 stalls.
The Porto Book Fair runs until September 13, under the motto ‘Joy for the end of the world’, verse by Andreia C. Faria, and with the poet Leonor de Almeida as the author to whom a homage linden will be attributed.
The seventh edition of the Book Fair organized by the Porto City Council will also remind the immunologist Maria de Sousa, who died in April.
The Porto Book Fair will be open from 12:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 11:00 am to the weekend, closing at 9:30 pm between Sunday and Thursday and at 11:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
