The Portuguese handball team beat Sweden runners-up 35-25 in the Euro2020.
Portugal rose to third in Group II of the Euro2020 after another victory in the second phase of the tournament. The team that already won by 15-12 at the break, won the match categorically, the current European runner-up, who played at home at the Arena in Malmöe.
Portuguese players Fábio Magalhães, Rui Silva and João Miguel Ferraz scored 6 goals each, and goalkeeper Alfredo Quintana, who played a fantastic game, with 13 saves, was crucial to secure the Portuguese victory.
