The Portuguese national team of U19 futsal qualified today for the final phase of the first European of the category, after beating Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-1 in the last day of Group 3 qualifying.
The hosts were the first to score in just two minutes, but the Portuguese team gave the return to the marker in the first part, with goals Célio Coque and Milton Dias, on 17 and 19, respectively.
In the second half, Portugal confirmed their superiority with the third goal, by Gustavo Rodrigues, consuming the full Group 3 victories, which secured him the first place, with nine points.
The Portuguese team debuted with a victory over Moldova by 10-1 and then beat Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina for the same result on the second and third rounds.
The final phase of Euro2019 will be played in Riga, capital of Latvia, between 8 and 14 September, with the draw being scheduled for June 7.
In addition to Portugal and Latvia, which are reserved for the finals as organizers, Croatia, Spain, Ukraine, Russia, Poland and the Netherlands were selected.
