Portugal ended its participation in the group stage of the League of Nations with victory in Split, against Croatia, by 3-2.
The Croats scored first, but Marko Rog’s expulsion made room for the turnaround, consummated by Rúben Dias and João Félix. Kovacic still equalized again, but an authentic gift from goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic, already in the clearing time, was also worth the ‘bis’ to Rúben Dias and the Portuguese victory.
The National Team thus ends its participation with 13 points in 6 games, supplanted by France, which ended with 16 points, after winning Sweden 4-2. Croatia maintained their maintenance in League A, despite having ended their participation with the same points as Sweden (3 points).
