Portugal beats Oman and qualifies for World Cup quarters

The Portuguese beach soccer team qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2019 World Cup in Asuncion today, beating Oman 3-1.

In a game in which only victory interested both teams so that they could move on, the Portuguese team advanced five minutes by Coimbra, but still allowed Oman to equalize in the first period, by Jalal, at nine.

In the remaining two periods, the Portuguese team managed to maintain their inviolable networks, having scored a goal in each half, by Bé Martins (21) and Léo Martins (28), setting the final score at 3-1.

In the quarterfinals, Portugal, as runners-up in Group D, will face the undisputed Group C winner.
