Portugal draw with Finland in the farewell of the Four Nations Tournament

Francisco Neto’s team has not lost any game in the competition.

The Portuguese women’s soccer team fired today for the Four Nations Tournament in China with a 0-0 draw against Finland, finishing the competition in second place.

In the third and last game in the tournament, the team trained by Francisco Neto repeated the ‘null’ of the opening day with China. In the second round, on Saturday, Portugal beat Thailand 4-1.

“All the goals that were determined collectively have been fulfilled, and we are sorry that we did not manage to win this last game, because the draw with China and the victory with Thailand were, in my opinion, fair results. “said the selector Francisco Neto, in statements to the advisory of the Portuguese Football Federation.

With the draw at the Chongqing Yongchuan Sports Complex, Portugal finished the competition in second place, with five points behind China, who beat Thailand 2-0 on the final day and got seven points, two wins and a tie.

The Quinas team was ranked 33rd in the 33rd place behind Finland (31st), Thailand (28th) and China in the Four Nations Tournament, (15th).

“It was a very competitive tournament with a very high competitive density – with three games in six days. Portugal was growing from game to game and managed to play every game, as was our commitment and goal from the beginning “All our opponents were above us in the FIFA ranking, but this reality was not seen on the pitch,” said Francisco Neto.
