Portugal will receive the band YES with the 2020 tour in Campo Pequeno
YES, one of the best known progressive rock bands considered true legends, announce a European tour through Portugal, April 24, in Campo Pequeno.
The Album Series 2020 Tour features the 1974 album “Relayer” in its entirety, along with a selection of other classics.
This tour succeeds YES 50 Anniversary 2018 and features Steve Howe, Alan White, Geoff Downes, Billy Sherwood, Jon Davison, and Jay Schellen.
The concert will consist of two sets from the band, the first with classic tracks from YES’s extensive catalog and the second will focus on “Relayer”, the seventh studio album and one of the band’s most distinctive.
This was the milestone of a slight change of direction that coincided when Patrick Moraz replaced Rick Wakeman on the keyboards, giving the album a more avant-garde look.
Steve Howe comments that the band is eager to play for all Portuguese fans and that during the first half of the night they will present a refined selection of YES’s huge 50-year repertoire.
