A group of Portuguese brands of children’s fashion today presents their collections in a parade in the hall of Florence, Italy, where Pitti Bimbo, one of the biggest world fairs in the sector, is held until Saturday.
The source of the organization says that the purpose of the Portuguese business delegation is to strengthen the presence “in international markets and win new customers,” not only in Europe but also in destinations “like the Middle East or Japan.”
“Beginners B’Lovely and Yay join the already experienced Dr.Kid, FS Baby, Knot, Meia Pata, Naturapura, Piccola Speranza e Phi Clothing, in an entourage organized by the ‘From Portugal’ project of the Selective Association Fashion, “reads the note.
Since Thursday, each of the companies has presented their latest news to thousands of visitors, including buyers, agents, distributors, designers, and journalists, although not all of them participate in the fashion show today.
The participation of Portuguese companies in Pitti Bimbo is an initiative promoted by Selectiva Moda and the Associação Têxtil e Garfão de Portugal (ATP), which aims to promote the internationalization of Portuguese fashion companies.
The ‘From Portugal’ project is co-financed by Portugal 2020, with an eligible amount of support of € 12.5 million, of which € 6.9 million comes from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
