Portuguese selection of ‘sevens’ is in the Olympic qualification

The Portuguese rugby team ‘sevens’ qualified for the qualifying tournament for the 2020 Olympics, winning the group B of the first stage of the European, which took place in Moscow.

Portugal with three wins in three games, 28-24 to Wales, 38-10 to Poland and 12-10 to Germany, qualified for the quarterfinals of the cup ‘Cup’ of the tournament, and so is at least in eighth place in nine clear selections.

The Olympic qualification will be on 13 and 14 July in Colomiers in France, and the winner will be cleared directly to Tokyo2020, the second and third contests the recapture with selections from all continents.
