Professor of History of Caldas da Rainha distinguished
Rui Correia, professor of history, of the Basic School of Santo Onofre, in Caldas da Rainha, is the winner of the ‘Global Teacher Prize Portugal’ 2019, for good teaching practices of teachers.
With a project to capture the attention of students to the subject with interactive methods, will receive a prize of 30 thousand euros and can still compete for the next world edition.
This year, 200 teachers applied for the ‘Global Teacher Prize Portugal’, and the jury has former Minister of Justice Álvaro Laborinho Lúcio, who is honorary president, has chosen 10 finalists.
This award, awarded every year, has the Galp Foundation as its main partner.
