Project AIDA will detect fraud in real time on the 5G network
Researchers from the Institute of Systems and Computers Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC) will integrate the development of a new platform that will allow detecting fraud in 5G networks.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he AIDA project, which includes the participation of INESC TEC researchers, aims to make the North American Mobileum’s RAID risk management platform compatible with 5G. With a financing of 1.8 million euros, the project is expected to be completed in November 2022.
With a financing of 1.8 million euros from European Union funds, the AIDA project (Adaptive, Intelligent and Distributed Assurance Platform) is going to update the RAID risk management platform developed by the North American Mobileum, making it compatible with the fifth generation of mobile networks. Altogether, it is expected to be completed in November 2022.
In addition to INESC TEC, the project led by Mobileum and selected under the Go Portugal initiative of the CMU Portugal Program has the collaboration of researchers from the University of Coimbra and Carnegie Mellon University, in the United States of America.
