The renowned producer of the green wine region won the Best Vineyard & Gardens award from the Lux Hospital Magazine’s Global Hospitality Awards, the 2019 Tourism Award from the Millennium BCP Horizons Awards, and was voted Best Trade and Service Area , in the Construir 2019 Magazine Awards. These awards reinforce and recognize the company’s recent investments in the wine tourism business.
Paula Sousa, Director of Wine Tourism at Quinta da Aveleda, says that it is truly stimulating and satisfying to see that all our efforts to do more and better for the customer are recognized by the market, the press and partners. These distinctions reinforce the relevance of the experiences around the vineyard and wine, and all the emotional and sensorial universe that clients seek in wine tourism. It is undoubtedly a tourism industry in Portugal with great growth potential.
Lux Life Magazine awards are awarded annually for assessing recognition in a particular area, dedication and customer satisfaction, as well as the ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation. This year’s awards for this tourism and lifestyle magazine have distinguished Quinta da Aveleda in the category of Best Vineyard & Gardens, based on the property’s magnificent and unique landscape, full of vineyards surrounding 8 hectares of romantic gardens.
The Millennium BCP Horizons Awards, promoted in partnership with the Global Media Group, the Catholic University, AICEP – Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade – and COTEC Portugal – Business Association for Innovation, reward the commitment to the strategy of growth of the Portuguese companies that stand out in several valences. In this third edition, Quinta da Aveleda was recognized in the Tourism category, among about 70 applications submitted.
Finally, Quinta da Aveleda was also voted Best Trade and Services Space at the Construir 2019 Magazine Awards. This recognition, based on the readers ‘and subscribers’ vote, refers to the rehabilitation of an old property building for the creation of a wine tourism space, with tasting room, vinoteca and shop, under the responsibility of architect Diogo Aguiar.
Quinta da Aveleda is a project that stands out, right in the heart of the Vinho Verde region, and follows the path of excellence that is reserved for it.
