The participants of the Recodme program start on Thursday, July 29, the stage of professional training in the workplace.
Sixteen trainees will grow their knowledge over 300 hours at agap2IT and Bee Engineering, partner companies of the initiative. In the first, groups of four will participate in projects in the DXS, Labs and NTS areas, which will present them with varied challenges in terms of digital solutions, Innovation & Development and Nearshore. In the second, the R&D/Products unit receives three “recoders” and Nectar Interactive another one, which will gain experience in the creation of products and interactive actions.
Vocational training in the workplace will be completed in 300 hours remotely. After completing the seven-month program, participants will be equipped with more experience and will be able to start a career in the Innovation and Technology sector in a year in which the digitization of business and companies has become even more essential.
According to Rebecca Santos, Program Manager at Recodme “In this second stage of the project, we managed to guarantee all the recoders 300 hours of training in the workplace. We intend to continue to provide a continuous learning environment where they will be integrated and will have the possibility to put into practice all the knowledge obtained in the previous phase. It is a unique opportunity to learn from specialized professionals with high technical qualifications in the area of technologies, in addition to participating in innovative projects. All the conditions are met for them to be successful, we hope they will seize the opportunity and do their best.”
Recodme started its modular training on a face-to-face basis in February with 20 participants. It subsequently became fully effective at a distance with training and mentoring processes, responding to the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This requalification initiative for the Innovation and Technology sector is free of charge for the trainees and is supported by the Professional Training Service of Lisbon of IEFP, namely by the Measure Active Life program.
It is aimed at unemployed people with complete 12th grade, who are up to 29 years old and who are enrolled in the institute. It is supported by companies in the agap2IT sector, Bee Engineering, KCS iT, Adentis and Decode.
