Reels created by Instagram prepares global launch

The Reels application is set to launch in more than 50 countries. Created by Instagram, it promises to be the great rival of TikTok, since it also bases its activity on sharing short videos

With Reels, people can record and edit 15-second videos with multiple cuts, including audio, effects and new creative features.

Reels has no official release date yet, but is expected to go global over the next few weeks. For now, Brazil, France, Germany and India are the only markets where the application is being tested.

Remember that since Instagram is owned by Facebok, Reels will also be part of the portfolio of platforms under the responsibility of Mark Zuckerberg.

The American entrepreneur’s social media empire continues to grow, often taking advantage of concepts launched by other companies. Instagram Stories, for example, have often been dubbed the Snapchat copy, although they have some differences.
