Renovated Festival with artistic residences in Caldas da Rainha

The Festival Impulso will return to Caldas da Rainha from 23 to 25 May for a second edition that will have as new artistic residences that join the concerts, exhibitions, conferences and film cycles.

Son of the Mother, Miguel Nicolau, EGBO and LAMA are the participants of the first artistic residence launched by the Impulse Festival as the main novelty of the second edition of the event.

The result of the residence will reach the public “materialized in the form of a single concert,” released today the organization of the festival.

Launched in 2018 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Sound and Image Degree of the School of Arts and Design (ESAD) in Caldas da Rainha is organized in partnership by students and teachers and promises “more than 40 concerts, exhibitions, cinema and conferences around the universe of the arts and the spectacle “.

In a statement, the organization announced today the first 15 names on the poster that have already confirmed the participation of Bruno Pernadas, Allen Halloween, HHY & The Macumbas, Lavoisier, Whales and Riding Panic.

Among those confirmed, there is still room for Jasmine, Monday, Mario Violet b2b, Iguana Garcia, Sallim, Colony Slander, Melquaiades and Beautify Junkyards.

The festival that aims to “promote decentralization and cultural offerings” will take place at the Caldas da Rainha Youth Center and tickets for the three days can now be purchased at a price of 30 euros.
