Rescheduled concerts in Lisbon and Porto for the ’20 20 Cultura Para Todos’
At stake are ten concerts, by names like Mariza, The Gift and Rui Veloso, which were to take place at that time, but which were rescheduled until January, because of the restrictive measures of the state of emergency that limit circulation between municipalities.
Thus, the Amor Electro concert at the Pavilhão Rosa Mota (Porto), which was scheduled for December 1st, was postponed until the 3rd. The show by Tiago Nacarato & Bárbara Tinoco, scheduled for the 8th, at Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon, will start on the 9th.
Mariza‘s concert, scheduled for Saturday, the 28th, at Campo Pequeno, was rescheduled for December 16th.
The comedian Fernando Rocha would perform on Sunday, the 29th, at Campo Pequeno, but will only do so on December 10th.
The two concerts that Camané and Mário Laginha had for those two theaters, on November 30th, in Porto, and December 5th, in Lisbon, were postponed to January: the 22nd, in Lisbon, and the 29th, in Porto.
The same happens with the two shows by David Carreira also in the two rooms: the one from December 5th, in Porto, changes to January 31st, and the one from December 6th, in Lisbon, changes to January 24th.
There are also changes in the concerts of The Gift, from December 7 to January 23, in Lisbon, and Rui Veloso, from November 28 to January 30, in Porto.
These changes are made, because the government approved, on Saturday, new measures of the state of emergency during the weekends and holidays of December, limiting the circulation between municipalities.
It means that ticket holders for shows for that period no longer have valid justification for being able to move between municipalities.
According to the promoters, the tickets already purchased remain valid for the new date, without the need for exchange.
All other concerts of the ‘20 20 Cultura Para Todos’ cycle remain as planned.
The ‘20 20 Cultura Para Todos‘ initiative, which involves Santa Casa da Misericórdia in Lisbon and the promoters Everything is New and PEV Entertainment, “aims to resume and encourage culture in Portugal”, in the context of the covid pandemic -19.
The poster is “100% Portuguese” and includes, in addition to those already mentioned, Jorge Palma, Aurea, Carminho, Paulo Gonzo, Branko, Rodrigo Leão, Os Quatro e Meia, Mishlawi, Moonspell, Dino D’Santiago, Fernando Daniel, Anjos, Diogo Piçarra, Richie Campbell and the comedian César Mourão.
